Over the past twenty years, Nathy has worked at three New York agencies which have each been recognized as Agency of the Year during his tenure. In 2006, Nathy was Boards Magazines producer of the year. In 2020, he was honored by Campaign US in their prestigious 40 over 40 Awards which recognizes leaders for their dedication to groundbreaking creative work and head turning innovations for clients.
Nathy has built and led award-winning integrated production teams that have consistently been recognized by the Cannes Lions, AICP, One Show, D&AD, Emmys, Clios, ANDYS, and the Effies.
While overseeing McCann’s production arm, Craft NA, Nathy used his unique experience to define and drive an overall vision and strategy. He combined creativity and efficiency with scale, partnering the agency’s in-house talent with independent artists and emerging tech platforms, to deliver new forms of content and create new revenue streams. Nathy used his progressive approach to develop new creative opportunities including content publishing models, prototyping AR filters + lenses, and metaverse asset creation/partnership.
Previously, as Chief Production Officer at McCann NY, Nathy inherited a very traditional production department. He completely transformed the production offering to help McCann NY grow into one of the world’s most innovative and most awarded Agencies in the World from 2016-2021.
Nathy embraced his leadership position to positively change how production intersects with people and planet. As Chief Production Officer of McCann North America + Craft North America, he transformed the network’s production practices by developing and implementing new processes and workflows with respect to diversity and sustainability. He found this effort to be particularly rewarding as DE&I and the environment are subjects that he is passionate about. Recognizing how technology is revolutionizing the industry, Nathy represented McCann as part of a major Client’s global shift toward Virtual Production. He provided his insight and expertise as part of their global RFP with the leading LED Video Wall stages across the world.
Some iconic campaigns include SSGA’s - Fearless Girl, Lockheed Martin’s Group VR experience - Field Trip to Mars, March For Our Lives - Generation Lockdown, and Mastercard’s - True Name.
Nathy lives in Croton-on-Hudson, NY where he raised his three kids along with his High School Sweetheart Andrea. The two have been checking off bucket lists trips like hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, participating in an Elephant safari in Chitwan National Park, Nepal, and summiting Mt Kilimanjaro.
